The Enclosures provide 42U (73.5") or 22U (38.5") of vertical equipment space for industry-standard 19" rack-mount equipment and meet EIA-310-D requirements.

The APC NetShelter Configure-to-Order Program is designed to allow customers to more quickly deploy a complete, hassle free rackmount solution. Customers now have the ability to receive NetShelter Premium enclosures custom populated with virtually any and all APC equipment needed to increase network availability and manageability. Combined with APC's award winning Rackmount UPS products and management accessories, the Configure-to-Order Program provides a complete APC protection and management solution, custom tailored to each customers' specific needs. Currently, this program is available only in the Continental United States.

2 Post Racks

The NetShelter 2 Post Rack offers a quality solution for the economical installation of rack-mountable networking equipment. The 2 Post Rack offers cost conscious customers a simple solution for rack mounting network equipment in a secure managed environment including datacenters, wiring closets and co-location facilities. Each NetShelter 2 Post Rack is made with high grade aluminum extrusions and offers a generous 45U (78.75" or 200cm) of equipment mounting space in a 7 foot high design. The self-squaring design makes assembly quick and easy and requires only one person to fully assemble each unit.

NetShelter 2 Post Racks are designed to accommodate most rack-mountable devices that fit within a standard 19" rack using 2 posts. Alternating hole patterns in front and rear of each channel provide for easy installation of equipment. Six web channel holes per side allow for multiple racks to be configured side by side. To complete your installation, choose from many NetShelter Rack Accessories to simplify installation of your network management peripherals and/or cabling configurations.

4 Post Open Frames

The NetShelter 4 Post Open Frame offers the same great features as the 2 Post Rack with the additional capability of supporting equipment requiring 4 post mounting. The NetShelter 4 Post Open Frame is made with high grade aluminum extrusions and offers a generous 45U (78.75" or 200cm) of equipment mounting space in a 7 foot high design.

NetShelter 4 Post Open Frames are designed to accommodate networking devices such as hubs, routers, and switches. To ensure proper selection, ensure your equipment can be mounted using the #12-24 threaded mounting holes provided. Otherwise, consider a NetShelter Premium or Standard Enclosure. Six web channel holes per side allow for multiple racks to be configured side by side. The 4 Post Open Frame uses the APC Rack Accessories to simplify installation of your network management peripherals and/or cabling configurations.
